The Plot Summary of The Unit

The Unit is based at a fictional army post, "Fort Griffith." The location of Fort Griffith is never explicitly stated, but in Episode 303 "Always Kiss Them Goodbye," the storyline suggests that it is northwest of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and west/southwest of St. Louis, Missouri, which would place it in the vicinity of the real-life Fort Leonard Wood.

The Unit is a great TV series, and the price and quality of this box set was great.

I also was disappointed that CBS cancelled The Unit; however, I am hopeful that FOX, TNT, A&E or one of the other cable channels will pick it up. I was down to one show per week - The Unit - on the main three networks; now it's none. We still have 24 on FOX, and more and more superior shows are coming out on cable channels. The big three are in a death spiral with their "reality" shows all week. Clueless is the first word that comes to mind when I think of them.
